"Extrusion" along a predetermined path

Can a 2D work-plane be "extruded" into 3D along a predetermined 3D curve, and If so, how?

Hi David,
If I understand you correctly, you're trying to sweep a face along a curve, see Reference Guide manual, version 5.1, page 441 and following.
